Who is your running Hero?
Hartley Wintney Fun Run for young people
There are five distances for children from pre-schoolers up to year 11. We are inviting parents and carers to walk or run with their children over the 2.4km distance.
Marshals and a pacemaker will guide the children around the courses. There is a medal for every finisher.
The cost of entries received by 6pm on the Saturday before the event is £6 per child or £15 for a family of 3 or more children.
To enter on the day, please register at least 30 minutes before the start of your run at the registration tent. Click the 'On the day' tab for timings.
The cost of 'on the day' entry is £8 per child.
The organising committee look remarkably similar to Superheroes, old and new. They would love your feedback on the day.
Children (and adults) are warmly invited to dress up as a superhero themselves on the day - anything from a mask, cloak, homemade logo on a t-shirt to a complete outfit should they have one.
All proceeds from the event will go to Greenfields Junior and Oakwood Infants Schools (the GreenOaks Federation) via the PTFA for both schools.
Why the Hartley Wintney Fun Run?
Our aim is to encourage children and young people into running to promote life-long wellbeing. We also raise funds for local organisations. Our aim is to be inclusive and we welcome entries from Hartley Wintney, Hook, Fleet and surrounding areas. If you have friends visiting that weekend they are also very welcome to take part.
